Prooptiki at Greece Race for the Cure 2025
With great success and a new record of participation, the 17th Greece Race for the Cure®, the landmark race against breast cancer in Greece, was completed on Sunday, September 28!
Prooptiki took part in this symbolic event with a strong social purpose in Greece. Starting from Zappeion, members of the team joined the 2-kilometer walk, contributing to the invaluable work of the Panhellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer “Alma Zois”, while staying true to their commitment to creating a positive impact on society.
The Panhellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer “Alma Zois” is a Non-Profit Organization founded in 1988 by women who had personally experienced breast cancer, with the vision of a world without deaths from breast cancer. All its members, volunteers, and Board of Directors are women with personal experience of the disease.

More than 60,000 men, women, and children participated with enthusiasm from all corners of Greece, flooding the streets of Athens and the internet with the powerful message: TOGETHER we are stronger than breast cancer!
Prooptiki strives to actively and tangibly support initiatives centered on volunteering and social contribution, while also aligning with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. The company’s participation in the symbolic Greece Race for the Cure® run and walk—the 2nd largest Race for the Cure® event in Europe—contributes to raising funds for free quality care programs for breast cancer patients, as well as increasing awareness about the importance of prevention and the value of early diagnosis.
In this race, every step truly counts!
